Hotel Martinez by Hyatt
Cannes, France
This hotel renovation project reflects the charm and the glamour of Côte d’Azur. The 5 star Hotel Martinez was inspired by an Art Deco style and the challenge was to develop designs for room entrances and communicated rooms, with doors and frames in a customized design. Portaro performance door sets selected with 30 minute fire rating and incorporating acoustic insulation varying between 40 and 42dB. The chosen finish was a stunning high gloss white lacquer, which created the perfect contrast to the predominant blue and yellow soft tones in the hotel.
The Peninsula Paris Hotel

Vicaima was selected to provide joinery solutions for The Peninsula Paris Hotel, which is the first hotel of the HSH Group (Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels) in Europe. Exclusively designed for this project, the brief included doors, frames, skirting boards, panels and technical shafts, with tailor made detailing.
For the room entrances of this hotel, was exclusively developed and certified the Portaro® FD30 AC46dB. The Portaro® FD30 single and door pairs were also supplied for the corridors, and Portaro® FD30 AC41dB pairs for the technical shafts, these being highly effective products with regard to fire resistance and acoustic performance. Matching with the decoration and glamour of this hotel is the design of the Vicaima doors themselves, with flush doors and solid wood customized frames, in an acajou and specific high gloss finish.

Vicaima restates its leading position in the European housing sector by providing high-performance interior doors and security doors to the Grand Huit Nyon housing project, which lies in the heart of the Swiss city.
Ambassador Boutique Hotel

This unique project reflects the architectural surroundings and language of the inspiring mountain landscapes overlooking the city of Nyon. The intimate ambiance of the Ambassador Boutique Hotel is created by the synthesis between the sand, black or taupé shades which confer a sober and refined décor to the space. Vicaima doors conform to the elegant spirit, with a plain dark grey or white design and prove to be a fundamental element in this arrangement, which highlights the essence of the hotel's lines in perfect equilibrium.
Plessey Centre
England, United Kingdom
Vicaima performance doors were selected as part of a modular build project for NHS Community Mental Health Services in the North East of England, the Plessey Centre.
Collège le Marais III
Gimel, Switzerland
Perfectly integrated into the surrounding landscape of Gimel’s city, Switzerland, the Collège le Marais III highlights minimalism and functionality. This project was designed by the Magizan architecture studio who prescribed the selection of building elements which guaranteed durability and the easy maintenance of spaces. The school building was equipped with Portaro® fire and acoustic and non-fire solutions. To enhance the luminosity of the environment, the high resistance finish of Dekordor SHD was selected, in oak tone.
Soane Housing Development

Situated in a tranquil location, yet at the very heart of a vibrant St Helier on the island of Jersey; sits The Soane, a very modern apartment development where Vicaima door products have been selected to harmonise with the contemporary décor.
WWF
Woking, United Kingdom
Vicaima was chosen to provide the interior door sets for the World Wildlife Fund Living Planet Centre in Woking, which is also home to the WWF. The centre is at the very forefront of sustainable design and construction, and is one of the greenest buildings in the UK. It is testimony to achieving the reality of living in harmony with nature.

The elegance and versatility of Vicaima interior doors blend into the unique ambience of King’s Wharf Quay 29 residential tower, where minimalist and contemporary architecture is preeminent. The interior decor is further enhanced by exploring the contrast between white lacquering and natural oak veneered doors, which fit perfectly into the radiant and welcoming settings characterised by this project.
